Registration for the Cowboys starts in April and continues through August of each year.  Teams fill up quickly so it is always in your best interest to register early.  The following documents are required for registration:

• Registration form signed by parent or, legal guardian
• Certified Birth Certificate
• Physical (must be after Jan 01 of current year)
• Report Card for the full year
• Registration Fee:
       $160 Tackle / Cheer  
       $85 Flag / Flag Cheer
• Snack Bar Deposit: $25/per child

We register on Saturdays in May, June and July.  Signs are posted at intersections throughout the northeast part of town prior to Saturday registration days.  The sign will tell the location of the Registration place.  Once practice starts in August, you can go to the snack bar at McDonald park and fill out the forms.

The Registration Fee only makes a dent in what it costs to outfit and field a football team and cheerleaders.  The cost of equipment is much more than the registration fee and includes certified helmets, all pads, practice uniforms and game uniforms.

The snack bar deposit is refundable.  This is a great way for the parents to get involved and help the team.  After working a shift at the snack bar, the $25 deposit will be returned to you.  You can also choose to donate your refund (after working the shift) to a team for travel expenses. 

All equipment/uniforms are on loan and must be returned at the end of the season.  The better you take care of your equipment, the less fund-raising and more traveling we can do as an organization each year

Physicals

One of the most iron-clad rules of TYFSF is that our players and cheerleaders must have up-to date physicals before they set foot on the practice field.  This is an insurance requirement that is NEVER waived.  Turning in all of your paperwork on time is important, but...
