Flag has no weight requirements and is for children ages 5-7.
*** Mitey Mite is an instructional league for first year players only and returning players who meet the weight requirement. There is no minimum weight for Mitey Mite and no playoffs or championships
Midget Division can not have sophmores and cannot be 16 on or before Dec 31st
You'll notice the ages of each division overlap considerably and that a child may not be eligible to play at all if he is very large or very small for his age. Because tackle football is a contact sport, we use an age/weight chart to determine which division a child will be assigned to. This same chart is used across the Federation. These minimum and maximum weights are there for the safety of all player. There are NO exceptions to the weight and age categories posted on the chart. Your child must play in the appropriate division.
Flag and Mitey Mites are considered non-competitive, instructional leagues and do not compete in the city, regional or national level. However they do play in the Fiesta exhibition games. All other leagues can compete at the city, regional and national levels.
Football teams are limited to 35 players.
